Help: getting low fps in D3

hi guys,

lately I am paranoid regarding my 680m. I am playing d3 and I am experiencing low fps (avg 70) on all high settings @1920x1080.

I tried MSI afterburner and monitor the stats and I realized that during gameplay, the gpu usage avg about 40%-60% thus that explain the low fps. If I am at the hero/Act selection screen, the usage is above 90% and I am getting 140+ fps.

May I check with other 680m user, what's your avg fps on d3 during gameplay?

my laptop details as follows:
i7-3630
8gb
SSD 256gb
gtx680m
killer network

I tried running 3dmark11 and my score is 5880. my score seems to be in range but why is it in d3 I am getting low fps?

Hmm isn't 70 high enough for u to feel smooth game play? Maybe it is d3 restriction not to use more of the gpu when the fps is already good enough for naked eyes.

70fps is not low at all

I used to play D3 as well and often my FPS would spike down below 60. It used to be an issue with the programming of the game but I'm sure they would have fix that now.
