Hi all! I just made a rig on my own and my computer cannot detect my 2nd hard disk. I have 1 ssd and 1 hdd. The ssd can work but the hdd just cannot be detected.

Specs:

i5 4460 + msi b85-g43 gaming
Corsair vengeance 8gb
128gb samsung 840evo
1tb WD blue
Super flower golden green 600w
Sapphire r9 280
Windows 7 ultimate

Any idea why? Please be patient with me, I'm a total noob..

When you say detect, where do u check? Windows or bios?

If bios cannot detect, check cables.

If bios can detect but windows doesn't show, format it under control panel -> computer management -> storage.

Your 2nd hard disk is brand new from SLS or re-used from another PC?
