[HELP]High Pitched Ping from new PSU!

Recently got a 600w super flower PSU and after plugging it in, it's been making periodic high pitched pinging noises.

this is when it's not even on load.

The sound even comes and goes when the computer is switched off.
The psu is connected to an outlet which is turned on, though.

try replugging in the powercord of the psu properly again. My old PSU have the same issue, end up was not plug in properly

hmmm then try shaking it uh or go RMA, rmb do not ever ever open it yourself. Even if the PC is not on, there is still enough charge within the PSU(Cap) to electrocute you to death

actually even before it's on, with just the power flowing through, it pings periodically.

See if any internal wire is getting in the way of the fan.

If you mean psu internal cable, I would advise ts to be extra careful...

didnt see any cables after shining a torchlight within.

the sound can last for 10seconds, go away for a minute, then come back for another few seconds.

i'm really confused, what's happening

try changing your powercord testing lo...

i think its the standby voltages regulators or its parts are faulty. you should get it RMAed.
