My one year old Samsung Evo 850 SSD which has windows installed on it suddenly cant boot. It is detected in BIOS but not in windows. Tried connecting it through a sata to usb connector in another computer also cant detect it.

Hmm...not to sure, but typically if SSD used up all its write cycle, it would still be accessible; becomez only a read-only device.
On the other hand, what you describe seems that SSD controller is still working, but all flash cell is dead. If u want can open up the ssd to see if any capacitor is damaged?

Time to RMA since it is one year old only.

i read about it here and it seems like the warranty is not covered. Bought from lazada and there is no EA sticker on it :(

Does the seller on lazada indicate any warranty at all? Sometimes those pi they provides seller warranty, so anything just go contact your seller.

One thing bad about unknown sellers in lazada is that we have to go through lazada so that they will go thru seller. If lazada sit on it, then we LL liao. Not sure if lazada would push seller for answers or something.
