[HELP] Long boot after new GPU into black screen

Change GPU to a 760 Windforce today.

After changing i noticed my computer took a very long time to boot up. Specifically it was stuck in the "Press Del to enter BIOS" screen.

I formatted my computer. It was still taking a long time to boot. I cant even enter BIOS.

I've read online that resetting the BIOS will help, so i took out the battery and placed it in again.

Now the computer just stuck in the "Press Del to enter BIOS" screen. Then Black Screen.

Can anyone help or advise?

Does ur board have a integrated graphic card, if it does try removing the GPU and use the integrated.

If u dun leave it as it is or try on another PCI slot.

U might wanna try disconnecting the hdd and remove the ram.

doesnt work. still long load time at the same screen and then black screen.

Not malware as comp i've formatted.
Not power supply problem as computer used to boot into windows. Now it must boots into black screen.
Num lock doesnt work when comp is in black screen.
Cant enter cmos when preesing del on bios load screen.

You can't be too sure if Seasonic 520w can power the 760 gpu if this is an old PSU!

Its not. Like i've said, it initially got into windows after a long load. But now it's just a black screen.

The psu is ard 1 year old only.

Yea, i've connected the 760 to the power supply. A 6pin and a 8pin.

Bring your rig to CDL for trouble-shooting if you don't have a spare PSU to test.
