HELP: Multiple beeps during bootup

Hello all, in the process of building my own desktop.

Gigabyte H87-d3H
I5-4670

When I boot my pc, it will have multiple beeps with no display > CPU cooler start with beeps still carrying on for about 3 sec> PC shutdown > PC restart and the process as per normal.

I have tried 2 separate different ram stick both ddr3 into different slots but problem persist.

Have resit the processor.

Have tried to boot with just processor and ram (unplug everything else from PSU) but still the same.

Everything is new, so dont think burnt anything yet?

Could be both ram both faulty. Check whether the 4 pin 12v is it connecting to the mobo also.

Hi, never put in any gfx card.. am using onboard graphic card.. I was already running on skeleton build...PSU,MOBO and a stick of ram

I have put both ram back into a working desktop and they are working fine. Yup have confirmed both the 24pin and the 8 pin are insert tightly.

do a paperclip test on your PSU and see if it spins. ( bad power supply could cause this.)

are you sure the rams are compatiblewith the mbo?

get the rams from the other working pc and try ( not the new RAM)

Try boot with 1 RAM module.

Thanks for the reply.. brought it down to the shop and its confirm mobo faulty. They replaced 1 to 1 for me.

Wonder what is the chances of receiving a doa mobo
