Hey guys! I need help with building a new rig however I'm not too sure for the parts.

Basically I need to get a gaming rig and 2 monitors, one main one (24") and one side one(a cheap one will do). I do not need to buy keyboard, mouse, speakers etc etc

Type of games, like Dota 2,COD, BF4.

I really hope I can get a mid-high end gaming rig with my budget, 1.5k.

For the casing I was wondering if you guys could list afew compatible casing for the rig because I wanna find a cool looking case. ( a case that's good for air flow plus good looking) ^^

Thank you very much for your time and effort and I appreciate it!^^

Cheers!

Spend wisely on gpu. Dont just spend more on mobo which does not yield any performance value to you.

Gpu like wise if you have a bit more budget, 280x would be a good card to handle your games at ultra. 280 and 760 will be on high settings.

PCI 2.0 can still support most modern GPU in market now. The bandwidth provided by it is sufficient for it.

Upsize that Aurum to a Aurum 600W as the R9 280X uses a relatively high amount of power at full load. Other than that, the build is fine.

I forgot I need to add a wireless card. Which is compatible and what do you recommend?
I understand is not a good choice to play with wireless but the location of my cpu does not have a LAN port.

You sure ur mobo dun have LAN port? U know how it looks like?

If u cant run wired, den get those decent tplink adaptors at $3x odd.

Ya that's what I mean I can't wire a lan cable. Alright thanks

Do take note of your router as well. If it does not support AC, then getting an AC wireless adaptor is useless. If your router supports wireless-N up to 300mbps, then getting a 450mbps adaptor is also useless. Although thats in theory nia, but you get my drift.
