Help needed for Mini ITX setup

Dear all,

I have the current setup for a while. Due to need to upgrade (system requires 64 Bit Windows) for video editing purpose, appreciate all inputs on what can i go about doing.

Budget at the moment, had been adjusted to $800.

I can try to do DIY, or if everything can be purchased from one main shop, laggi easier. Just get the shop to help to fix up.

Key thing that will remain:
- Mini ITX Case (Think this case can tahan a few upgrades)
- SSD (Dont need to change)
- Optical Storage (Dont need to change)
- Audio (Dont need to change)

Buy the Windows 64-bit. Done.

Sounds like you may need to go for an upgrade to a DDR4 system, since you are doing it once. Do it well.

Get a better processor, a simple UD series Gigabyte motherboard. The new AMD Ryzens have amazing graphics built in to it. Great for watching videos up to 4K or even 8K. Think that would be the best upgrade for you.

But you will need to pull out your data and back it up, since upgrading from 32bit to 64 bit windows, you have to start with a fresh slate.

Haha. Too bad my existing system does not allow it to be done. Else would have done so.

Buy the Windows 64-bit. Done.

Was thinking that main change should be on (1) processor (thinking going AMD for now), (2) CPU, (3) RAM (cause CPU changed) and (4) video card.

Issue is, too many selections now.

Trying to determine which is mitx suitable and thus seeking all bros help. Thanks!
