Hi everyone. Anyone took astro mod before?

Need some feedback on this mod.
I heard that it is content-heavy, but how heavy is it?

What are the tips to score an A?

And does anyone have the pyp qns or online tb?

Please help!

Hi there, I've taken astro before.

Yeah, it is true that the mod is very content heavy. The module tests up to Ch 8 the sun (IIRC) for just the quiz already.

Last time I heard the question banks were useful, but for my time, there was only ~10 MCQs that came out from the question banks.

In my opinion, the quiz and finals was really about how good you are at memorizing it, or you have some general knowledge on astro/watched astro-related videos/shows before..

But then, 2 of my other friends, 1 got A+ (with super good memory) and the other got A- (even though he got only like B- for quiz).

It all depends on the cohort, it isn't that tough but it isn't that easy too to me.

I took astro two sems ago.
Very content heavy. You need to attempt those online question banks and past year paper.

In the later parts, things will get very similar. For eg, Sun VS other stars, formation of solar system vs formation of other galaxies, characteristics of planets.

Bell curve wise was very steep for my batch. I think the difference between an A and A- was probably 2 mcq questions.
