HELP: Problem syncing iPhone7 with Hotmail account

Hi there,

I can access to my Hotmail account on my iMac.

Suddenly, I cannot sync my Hotmail account on my iPhone7. What happened ? I didn't change anything leh ...

Suddenly I recevied the following pop-up screen when I try to check email.

"Cannot Get Mail

The username or password for "account name" is incorrect"

What happened I used to be able to sync and this happened all of a sudden ...

maybe Hotmail quarantined e access. just login to Hotmail on a desktop browser. see it prompts u to authorise e device or anything...

When login to Hotmail on desktop no problem, no prompt for anything.

When on iPhone, it also says "mail server pop.live.com not responding "

I had to delete the existing setup on my iPhone 7+ and then setup again using outlook following instructions from http://www.idownloadblog.com/2014/02/21/how-to-set-up-hotmail-iphone-ipad/ and it worked again.

Not it works liao ...

So, it looks like now all Hotmail account user gotta setup as AOL Outlook ....
