help with internal hdd

Hi, my internal hard drive is making this faint sound (5 times) during boot up and afterwards i think it stops spinning. Is this a sign of a dead hdd? Thanks in advance !

The bios cant detect the hdd.

Most probably the heads of the disk is already damaged.

The sounds and stopping of the disk is a safegard module of the firmware to prevent further damage if it encounters hardwarefailure.

Ts should consider buying 2x hdd and going raid 1.
