I be going to Tw in May
Not sure any other place i can plan with him as i am suggesting Yangmingshan, Pingxi ,Shifen,Shifen water fall, put sky lantern,JIu Fen, Maybe keelung night market.

Will be skipping jiuguashi, and yeliu

YMS - About 2hrs
Shifen(Waterfall, Old Street, Sky Lantern) - About 2hrs
Jiufen(Old Street + some snack/meal time at cafes) - About 2hrs
Pingxi(Old Street) - About 1hr


Not including travel time..The killer would be from YMS to Jiufen/Shifen...

Not that sure cos May is not one of my preferred months for Taiwan..

Rough estimation,

YMS to Shifen Waterfall about 1hr 30mins
YMS to Jiufen about 1hr+ abit..

And also take note, Sky lantern definitely look nicer with darker skies, waterfall has opening hours and is not FOC, Jiufen Old Street shop opens at about 12, start closing at about end 5 near 6..

- Shifen Station
- Pingxi
- Keelung's Miaokou NM

Why are you running about Taiwan?? It's a good waste of time on travelling from places to places alone even if he's willing to drive..
