File A ( 200 KB ) 200 line text ( excel worksheet )
File B ( 20 KB ) 30 line text ( excel worksheet )

whenever I print A, it kinda hangs at the printing page, ( small pop up after you click print. )
doesn't happen when I print B.

any idea? what troubleshooting measures should I take?
please advise.

Top button, click "View", go "Page break Preview". Drag the dotted lines and fit it into 1 page. Make sure the fonts are not some alien fonts from elsewhere.

Tried doing it too, same, it actually hangs for like 0.5 seconds.

I suspect its the 100 ish line of text that I copy from the web but problem is I do the same for file B & it doesn't react the same.
could 100 ish line of text really make such a big difference? I haven't had this issue till recently.

I copy my text from the net by right clicking, paste special, text.

200+ lines should not have up to 200KB in size.

There are likely blank lines below, which should be deleted.

I called Microsoft directly and enquire, these are their suggestion.

1. there are multiple format behind those 200+ lines of text
2. connection to the printer is slow
3. hardware of my computer

as this is taking too long to solve, I decided to call them up. as to the 3 advise they gave above, all didn't seem to apply to me.

1. I copied the same 200+ line to 3 different excel worksheet being different file format but didn't save as a 200KB file.
2. connection to my printer was tried with Words, Powerpoint, 1 other Excel & PDF file, connection seem fine.
3. I really do not believe in this reason, hence I dismiss it the instance he told me about it.

I decided to re-create the excel and it solved the issue. but it remains as a mystery why such a thing happen.
the sad thing is that, excel do not have a mail support that I can write in to, which I believe could really help in my case.

Oh well......
