I'd take it that strabismus is not a huge issue. Do you have problems taking readings from instruments and setting up experiments?
AFAIK, most lab sessions are not strictly time-constrained, and you can take a little more time to do your experiments (just that most people would have left by the time you're done).
Furthermore, the engineering courses, from what i hear, are not so practical and hands-on actually. It's more of analysis and problem-solving than doing experiments.
But i have to state here that I'm not an engineering student. It's just what I observed over my years in NTU.
