You need to state source.

And a legit one.

What if we told you early treatment with Pfizer-mectin will make symptoms of both groups mild and reduce disease progression.

Hi,

If we can state legitimate source/s for a protease inhibitors (e.g. ivermectin) which is in the same class as Pfizer's new protease inhibitor, supporting the removed statement, will the warning be removed and/or rescinded?

Thank you!

You post first then we will review it.

O
Hi,

1. Let's start with a local Singapore based study done by NUHS.

Quote from a NUHS media release 25 Apri 2021 based on a large local trial with a few treatment arms including ivermectin on a single 12mg dose.

From page 3, para 3:

"..., men who received ivermectin had fewer symptomatic infections compared with vitamin C."

Reference to actual study: https://www.ijidonline.com/article/S1201-9712(21)00345-3/pdf

2. We hope this legitimate source settles your doubts.

3. We will be happy to provide additional peer-reviewed research and studies to back up our claims if necessary.

Thank you!

Your links posted are noted, but after internal discussions, we will not be reversing your points.

We also need to inform everyone that ivermectin is still not an approved treatment of Covid-19 by HSA.

O
Hi,

1. We note with regret that despite showing evidence of a credible and legitimate source supporting our statements, the points were not reversed.

2. Pertaining to your snopes.com link. There is no suggestion in our post, or in any of our post history suggesting Pfizer's new drug and ivermectin are the same compound, or that they have the same efficacy and/or mechanism of action/s.

2a. We have on many occasion corrected forum users who claim they are the same compound.

2b. We do not support conspiracy theories alleging that drug companies are merely renaming ivermectin and selling them as new novel drugs.

3. However, we will maintain that they are the same in so far as they are a class of protease inhibitors, hence the use "Pfizer-mectin" as both are protease inhibitors.

4. We note the HSA advisory on approval, but state of approvals of a drug have no bearing on the efficacy of a drug which we have provided a legitimate source (out of many) to support our removed post.

Thank you!
