Then I will plan for year 2024 April to visit Hokkaido - meanwhile save up some money every month to upgrade to Singapore Airlines flight tickets and then book with CTC travel for their eastern hokkaido tour with coach ๐ŸšŒ and helicopter ๐Ÿš @GaoProsper thank you ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ˜Š

SIA dont fly directly to Sapporo except for their Scoot budget airline which although publicised as direct flight, it actually stop over at Taiwan which you need to get off the plane and go through the immigration again (without the luggage) and re-enter the same plane.

In my opinion If you fly SIA, eventually you still need to change to domestic flight via ANA (Star Alliance). Might as well save the money to take ANA international premium economy class and economy for domestic (only like 1.5 hr flight).

How is ANA international flight from Singapore? Their premium economy class is okay? Comparable to Singapore International Airlines?

Its weird that flight from SG to Sapporo via SIA is way more ex than Scoot with very similar timings and luggage.

iirc just exit & transfer back to (same) plane

international to local most likely need to go through immigration

Did you actually check the price for Scoot? Once the luggage and extras are added on, the price isn't that far off.

need to ask @GaoProsper for the helicopter ride, Iโ€™m only going in April 2024

usually full service airfare + 4 stars accommodations + all 3 meals + car rental and tolls is around $4k to $5k per person but I calculated with my spouse so for me per trip is around $8k to below $10k for usually a 10 to 14 days trip. (we prefer 2 weekโ€™s minimum).

Was there last year it's just a short like few minutes flight over the lake, I did not go for the ride...think it cost like 30-50sgd each depending on how many pax you can get together - the pilot flew so many flights per day his take off and esp the landings like from very fast approach then flare out to jam brake I think I'll puke
Wait got a video somewhere...
