I highly recommend Mitsui Garden Hotel in Sapporo....it's one block away from Gracery but it's cheaper by maybe 20-30% for that period I've stayed in..although room is on the smaller side for two person the service is excellent and the staff I've encountered I've spoke to had pretty good command of English and were always accommodating to my requests
