Hokkaido temperature in March

Hi,
I’m planning a family trip prolly in Feb/March 2023. Can anyone please advise hows the temperate like in March for Hokkaido? Is it still snowing and freezing cold?

It really depends. Shd be around 0 degrees usually. I once went mid February during snow festival and there was no snow and temperature was higher than 0. Ice sculptures was melting. I went in March and it was snowing everyday maybe around -1 degree

Sapporo Snow Festival in Feb been there twice. -5 to 5, snow depends on luck.

Hokkaido is huge which part you heading to?

which part are you going? Around Sapporo area?
usually around 0 degree to -5 degree bah.. the snow also quite nice.
heading to niseko?
