Hi guys,

Just wondering if any of you guys use home automation such as Philips Hue, a smart lock and etc. How is it?

Would you recommend Philips Hue for that price?

Using a p728 Samsung digital lock with Bluetooth function. Before upgrading to ios 10, it working fine as I don't have to give my maid the password or card if she lost it, just use her mobile phone. But now ios 10 device don't seem to work at all.

I'm using Philips Hue with Home Kit.

You will need a gen 4 Apple TV in order to make use of remote functions.

Connecting the Hue to Home Kit via iCloud sucks. After pairing, then for no reason need to reset Hue and repair. Do that 3-4 times a day and I stop using it liao.

Using Schlage Sense for my door with HomeKit (plus ATV 4 as hub). Apart from occasional disconnect ( reset 1 time since iOS 10, hopefully stabilise), pretty convenient. Can use Siri on my Apple Watch to unlock my door.

Looking to integrate the rest of devices and lighting with HomeKit if money permits
