If you don't intend to do a graduate programme, honors is not necessary.
If you don't need a better pay, honors is waste of money.
And it is also a waste of time if u dun see the meaning in honours.
many of the prestigious grad sch requires a gd honours means 2nd upper and abv. if u are stuck with 3rd class by the end of 3yr 1st sem, i suggest u just FFG. Don't waste time and money on something that gets u nothing in the future. I think 1 more yr of working experience is better than spending that 1 yr to get a shitting honours class.

btw, starting pay between pass degree and 2nd lower diff is quite big..

but 3rd grass forget it la

Nah, for me personally, i didnt chose to do honours!
(well to be fair my grads werent good enough even if i wanted to "p)

Employers were much more interested in my working experience i had for 3 years while i was studying
(which explains the chui grades)
