How come Sharknado can make so many movies?

The plot is rubbish, and the acting worse.

How come such movies can have so many sequels? How is that crap financially viable?

the actors and actresses inside the show won't cringed meh when they shoot the movie.

this kind of franchise can produce good talent too, James Cameron is one.

Think their entertainment and society very big. They got all kinds of people wanting to watch all kinds of shows. Some more their viewers is not just their place but the world. So they got big enough consumer market to cater to all kinds of people, no matter the show good or bad.

The video market is huge
There's an industry making B grade cheap crap movies which used to be dumped in Video rental bins
They are also dumped on their Cable TV
Even in Singapore , Starfub screens them to just waste time too
