Just go frequently till no sore or you tired of her looks.

Change a new one and rinse repeat

If the technique is right, can hit your spots, one time you can feel the difference. If want to improve or heal something, need to go many times.

That's why last time I got regular vnb therapist. Once found don't let go, she went back vn I still go find her

Do you watch cat videos? The meow meow will massage each other. As for your issue, it depends on the severity of your soreness cum the skill of you masseuse. I had frozen shoulder and visited so many to try to fix it. Some hopeless. Some worse. Some no effect. Last weekend finally found one that made it improve. So you will need to find a highly skilled one.

It depends on the root cause

If never sleep well, wake up neck sore, massage one time see improvement and relief

If neck sore due to bad posture, long hours standing or at desk bound job, massage won’t fix the root cause, it will keep coming back and you keep going

After a certain age, the soreness is like an old ailment at the core of your muscle already, very hard to treat.

Will 1 massage be enough?

  • ✅ Yes, sometimes — if the soreness is mild, from short-term tension, bad sleep posture, or a stressful day.
  • ❌ Often no — if the pain has been there several days, keeps coming back, or feels stiff/deep.

A single massage can:

  • Relax tight muscles
  • Improve blood flow
  • Reduce pain temporarily

But it doesn’t always fix the cause.

When do you need multiple massages?

You’ll likely need regular sessions (e.g., 1–2× per week for a short time) if:

  • Your neck is sore more than 3–5 days
  • You work long hours at a computer or phone
  • Pain returns after massage
  • Neck feels stiff every morning
  • You have stress-related tension

Massage works best cumulatively, not as a one-time “reset”.

What actually “cures” neck soreness

Massage alone isn’t enough. The best results usually come from combining:

Massage

  • Relieves tight muscles

Daily habits (very important)

  • Adjust screen height (eye level)
  • Avoid looking down at phone for long periods
  • Use proper pillow (not too high)

Simple exercises (2–3 min/day)

  • Gentle neck stretches
  • Shoulder rolls
  • Chin tucks

Heat

  • Warm towel or heat pack 10–15 min/day

⚠️ When massage is NOT enough

See a doctor or physiotherapist if you have:

  • Pain lasting >2 weeks
  • Numbness or tingling in arm/hand
  • Sharp or shooting pain
  • Pain after an accident or fall
  • Headache + neck stiffness + fever

Practical recommendation

  • Try 1 massage first
  • If pain improves but returns → do 2–4 sessions over 1–2 weeks
  • At the same time, fix posture + do light stretches daily
