How does USB-dvd player works?

Usually dvd player connect to tv just put disc in and play

How does it work for those usb-connect-to-computer type? can I copy and paste the content for storage? and what about for 5.25inch type?

Usually it doesn't work... CD and DVD don't use FAT32
