A lawyer I know interviewed at his firm.
DS is incredible. He was Joseph Grimberg’s pupil (who also took LKY on as a client) — one of the best of the best lawyers in Sg and learned everything he could from him.
This is echoed by everyone who works for DS— it’s a bit cultish, with juniors saying they would work 24 hours if necessary just for the privilege of seeing him argue in court. He has a command over the English language that very few do: no sentence has even one unnecessary word.
The cons are you could work at Davinder Singh chambers for years and DS may not even recognise you. One of the associates said he was emailing clients just before he walked down the aisle at his own wedding*.
There’s a reason he is hired by the bigwigs.

When he represented SPH for the defamation case brought on by TTDurai for NKF scandal, Durai dropped the case during the 2nd day of trial.
Roy Ngerng case, it was mentioned that Roy teared and cried multiple times. However, it is widely believed that Davinder thoroughly broke him during questioning which lead to that.
