Just 2 size is enough lah, 20" and 24/25".
Never buy the 28", very hard to maneuver around. Short trip can always use the 20" one.

not a shopper so 24" enough for a 2 weeks trip for me
i have a max out sized cabin bag for budget airline trips, good for up to one week

Not a fan of those carry-on/cabin luggage bags, I feel them very pretentious. You want rolling luggage, you should pay for checked-in luggage.
I have a gym bag for short trips and a 26” for long trips
