Anyway got choice of period before benefits kicks in... eg 60/90 days. Normally already have 2 months of hospitalisation leave n some annual leave so can start cover after 90 days.

Two years if you can't do your own job. And then after the first two years, need to proof you can't do any job at all to receive till end of coverage

My experience: I have one DI plan from AIA, which covers own job till age 65.

Meaning if I am not able to do my current job and earn less than insured monthly amount then they will pay me the difference till age 65.
