How to connect to internet through Nexus 7

Hello all,

I have an issue here. I have gotten a micro-sim from Singtel, and have also googled the HWZ website, that tells me to set the APN and i have done that. But i cannot seem to access still, am i missing out any steps? PLEASE HELP! URGENT! Thanks!

Airplanee mode should be off. Data usage should be on. If it works there should be 2G/3G/H/H+/something logo at the top. It should be blue.
Also, try restarting your tablet. Very essential but forgotten step.

The settings are right, the airplane mode is off, and data plan is on. But i still cannot get anything. It merely shows a singtel logo!

Do you have any idea why? Or can you share with me ur APN Settings?

So i called in to singtel, and now they claim that its the Nexus 7 that has an issue.

I may have to make a trip down to Funan IT mall to do an exchange on this Nexus 7. Does anyone has any issue like this before? I have exchange the sim cards between the handphone and the tablet, and both SIM are doing fine in my handphone, but for the tablet, it just doesnt get through.

Check and see if you APN setting for Singtel is configure.

My unit remember there wasn't any APN. Therefore need to key in the APN setting manually. Otherwise cant surf net on a DATA SIM!

Singtel APN: internet

MMSC: not require for Singtel
MMS proxy: not require for Singtel

I have called the singtel people and ya, the APN was what you have said. But i still couldnt connect to the internet, so the singtel people actually told me my Nexus 7 has issues. Damn headache seriously.

Went all the way down to harvey norman. Talk to two different salesman. Their responses were more or less the same. Product bought more then seven days, not exchangable. Didnt even bother to take a look at the configuration, pass me the service centre number at paya lebar. Thats it.

U got check the APN u created is checked and selected or not? Also, data enabled must be ticked in the prior screen.
