How to limit home wifi access from kids/teenagers

unker work night job , recently found out from ip cam that my kids not sleep at 2 am playing games online. :frown:


moi need the wifi on for phone call n ip cam on to monitor elderly at the same time but hope to limit kids access to wifi so they focus on their work instead of online gaming etc :o

anyone has exp , can share wat to do? :frown:

depends on your router.

I'm using ASUS, the phone app got settings to set downtime for individual connections one.

Common problem. I used an app to control their screen time

Then again, you restrict wifi your kids might just switch over to mobile data then they continue playing.

Plus the fact that if your kids are more IT savvy than you, they can find ways to bypass your restrictions.

restricting wifi is no long term cure. maybe you want to sit down with them and talk about it.

TS already stated need wifi for phone calls and ip cam to monitor elderly.
Im just trolling. But then what makes him think that technology is going to help? He should educate them. That’s way to restrict but you just driving them out of the house and do something more drastic.
