how to make chinese style chicken curry?

Yeah use A1 curry powder can...I usually use one fresh ones you found in the freezers to fried the chicken and the dump in another different brand to fried again before boiling.

Throw in one two ripe tomatoes and squeeze in some lime juice too brighten the taste.

I also use condensed milk+ coconut milk too to thicken it sweet and creamy

Coconut cream stir in last when almost off the flames to prevent the aroma from being cooked away too

Since alr using A1

stir fry curry leaves, blue ginger, lemongrass, A1 sauce, chicken and potato


then add water > coconut milk. (follow the instructions on the back of the packaging)


IMO the key is don't add too much water

remember to also cook the chicken meat with the curry powder and some spices first... purposely mash some cooked potatoes and dump in if you want those thicker curry gravy...

I too only take Chinese curry cos my ultra sensitive nose…

I remembered my mom cooked Chinese curry using the powder type in a sachet.

Those wet paste is smell too strong for my overly sensitive nose

go wet mkt stall (those dat sell raw noodles, tau gey, wanton slin etc) to get the chilli n onion n garlic, nicely smashed up in a paste. use it to stir fry the ingredients, jin pang 🥶😋😋😋

you mean got ready made curry paste with the shilli onion and garlic already mixed in?
just need to bring home and fry?
