How to reject invitation to wedding dinners? Any good excuses to use? Using travel overseas dangerous unless I hide in my house..

Why is traveling overseas risky? Just go JB that day lor.

Spend one night there...if really not so rich, you can always stay in a cheap hotel lar. RM 50 one night divide by 3.5. Much cheaper than the ang pow money right?

I think if more and more peepur come up with this excuse, those getting married will eventually stop throwing lavish banquets at hotels. By right, the banquet is meant to treat (belanjah) guests to a feast to celebrate their happy occasion of a marriage, but over time, it has become actually making guests pay for their meals, while the couple gets a grand banquet to show...at the expense of the guests.
