How to send a physical document (words or excel) into your mobile ?

Guys, need your help.

if you have a words doc (the words with screen shot too) on hand.

You wanted to upload word doc into your pc.
but if you use the photostat machine, it auto scan into pdf. (That i dont want cos i need to edit the word doc).

So, i wonder whether i can do a scan using my mobile and the send to my pc via mail with attached doc?
Please advise.

Use camscanner get the text, copy paste into word online, later can access via comp or phone

Bro, is it a free app and just need to download via play store - and which free icon (cam scanner) ?

can... easiest way if you are using iphone (because it sucks) is to take photo and send it to yourself on WhatsApp, then open it through whatsapp web/desktop

Many free apps on app store, cam scanner is just one of them, some scan not so zhun, will give typo, so you try and see which one bestest

As my lead always print out the word for me for reference, i need to save it into my pc .
that’s why if i use photostat machine, it auto convert to pdf which i cannot edit the doc.

so i am thinking of using mobile to scan , convert to word and then mail to my coy outlook.

there's a limit to what OCR can do.

is it a lot? because i would suggest using certain OCR to copy and paste out the wordings, then you come out with a new word document

I dont have iPhone (too expensive for me).
i use samsung.
i need to upload into my pc , just like words to words or excel to excel so i can edit.

Bro, not a lot, 1 to 2 pages that’s all, usually less then 5 pages (front and back).

when there is picture involved, it is pretty much set in stone.

tell your lead dont be booomer, dont print it out, send the word document to you via a technology created by mankind called email. there are other instant messaging platforms out there such as whatsapp or Teams which can send documents too. save the planet, stop printing.

then i suggest that you scan it (or take photo), send to yourself, use OCR to copy and paste out the wordings into a new word document.

you can use text extractor from microsoft powertoys to copy and paste the wordings from scanned doc (or photos) into the new word document

Open MS Word, and open the pdf doc.

pdf can also copy n paste in word doc. Just more lei chae but can b done.

also my coy dont use teams .

do you have any idea how to do it If you have say 1 page word that need to send to your pc ?
just like in the pc, we send mail with attached words or excel or pdf.
