Pcie cards for raid will use the small small pcie lane which is similar to sound cards.. just plug in to the next available slot you have straight below after your gpu.

If I use the slot beside the CMOS batt will make any difference? Hoping not to clusterfark components together.

My M.2 SSD i also use slot 2. Slot 1 will be covered by GPU.

Thanks ah bro.

I've gotten my 2 new HDD and decided to use auto backup software instead of RAID. I actually have no experience with using backup software either. From a list of best free autoback software I found, I think I'll go with EaseUS Todo Backup (I've used a few of their other programs and they are superb free software). Anyway, I'm still in the process of sorting out my data, before installing the 2 new HDD.
I have a few questions:

-How do auto backup software do their backup? Is it a simple automatic copy/paste or do they create an image and burn? Or any other method?

-Any software recommendation for cloning hard disk? I need to clone my current programs and games HDD into another one. Can I clone directly or must I make a separate image and then burn? Can it be done in windows or must boot from the cloning software?

Thanks!

diskmgmt, right click mirror, select the raw disk to mirror it should convert to dynamic disk
