How to upgrade ram???

I have tried downloadmoreram.com but it does not work...

RAM is called - Random Access Memory.

It is not a program nor a thing within windows to tweak or adjust.

This is a hardware that you will need to buy from hardware shops such as Sim Lim Square or COMEX.

To upgrade your laptop RAM you will need to check your RAM speed and whether does the laptop have an extra slot for you to slot in another 4gb OR if you have a single slot only you will need to install a single 8gb RAM.

Once you have done your necessary checking you will need to open up your laptop and locate the RAM slots. IF for whatsoever reason you are not a techie or do not know anything about how to open the laptop, you can head down to PC Solutions in SLS and look for Nigel.

May I know how to check "RAM speed"?

You just need to buy compatible RAM and install it into your notebook. No software/settings needed.

But you may not be able to upgrade to 8GB that easily. Chances are you have at most 2 slots in your notebook. If the vendor uses 2 x 2GB, you need to purchase 2 x 4GB to get 8GB (cannot reuse your old RAM).

Which is your laptop model? Probably just get any DDR3 Sodimm RAMs will do the job.
1 pc 4GB is around $52.
Your unit might originally be 1 pc 4GB or 2 pc 2GB.
Thus you might need to buy 2 pcs of 4GB to get to 8GB.
Each laptop typically have only 2 RAM slots. Some only 1.
