HP Omen gaming laptops with core i7 and Nvidia GTX 860M start at $1499
After lenovo and asus made gaming laptops with red backlit keyboards some sort of new trend, HP is jumping on board with this i7 4710HQ 860M machine.

Its kind of unexpected cos last I checked HP's PC business was already 1 foot in the grave and it looked like they really wanted to let it go.

From the article also looks like they're sticking to 1080p rather than jumping on the 3k/4k craze, which personally I do approve of.

Not so keen about: the fact that they put all the IO ports on the rear. Yes even things like headphone port.

finally they made use of voodoo's design...
thought they would kill voodoo's product line...
