[HELP!] HP Spectre x360 (Intel AC-7265) Wifi

Untitled8.png

I have been experiencing wifi issue with HP Spectre x360. It keeps showing limited access/unidentified network when i connect to my house router. There's no problem if i connect it to my mobile hotspot.

I already called Singtel and the technician make sure my router, Aztech 7000, has no problem. My other devices has no problem connecting to the router as well. Anyone know how to solve this?

You're not the only one. I'm getting the same problem ever since I bought mine last June during the PC Show. Idk what causes it. I don't think it's a hardware issue tho. Probably a Windows 7 issue. I can't find anything online so I'm just waiting for Windows 10's release next week.

It's kind of a hassle when every time you log in, you need to disconnect and then connect to your WiFi a few times to get a connection. Weird..

1. Increase your dhcp pool on the router to 100
2.create a 2nd ssid
3.start with WEP + 64bit encryption key and try connecting to it.
- if ok, proceed to increase your WiFi security to WPA + some simple pass phrase and try re-connect to it.
- if ok proceed to increase your WiFi security to WPA2 + some simple pass phrase
- monitor for a few days
