Hi

I am planning to go to Hsinchu on this Sunday. Reach Airport by 1.0 PM then need to go to Hsinchu. I will be staying near Zhonghua Road, near Hsinchu Train Station Near Sogo.

What is the best way to reach Hsinchu.

1) Some one told me to take UBus from Airport. Buy a direct ticket to Hsinchu but make a transfer at Jhongli Bus Interchange. The UBus will stop near Hsinchu Train Station. Sogo is walking distance.

2) But in forum I read Take UBus to Taoyuan Station. Then board High Speed Train to Hsinchu High Speed Railway Station. Then Board Another train to from High Speed Railway Station to Hsinchu Train Station.

Last option is Take direct Taxi which costs NT$1500

Among the option 1 and 2 which one is convenient? How long it takes?

Thanks. So from Hsinchu High Speed Railway station to Hsinchu Train Station how far? Do we have frequent trains from Hsinchu High Speed Railway station to Hsinchu Train Station? I understand there is a free transport. Is it true?
