Coolermaster elite 120/130

i dont think it can hold any dedicated gpu.
Also, its damn ugly

hahaha if mounting behind monitor is still ok for a HTPC but not recommended for gaming cause if you mount it behind your tv, that hot gpu is gonna toast your monitor

Thanks for the recommendations guys I will take a look at the corsair and coolermaster and fractal cases. Yeah it's for gaming on the TV so I will need probably a high end Nvidia or AMD GPU inside, along with a decent core i5/i7

The tv is the most 1080p. Not unless you say you have a 4k tv lol.

1080p easy to drive. Just like a 1080p monitor. If you are planning for a good graphics on 1080p. Best is have a monitor. Not unless you are planning to play from a long distance. And have any gpu from gtx750ti/r9 270 onwards.

hahaha anyway just to share my own experience. I use to play l4d and cod on my tv at quite a distance. I find that the HUD abit too small for me even playing on a 40 inch tv hahahaha. maybe i sat too far liao

Well this is for console type games on the big screen. My desktop is for the mouse and keyboard stuff. Since i need a htpc i might as well build something that can replace a ps4..although a ps4 seems like a cheaper option after looking at prices.

why not get the best of both world, get a ps4 and get a cheap pc for videos, web browsing and microsoft office. if im not wrong ps4 cost around $600 plus then this kind of cheap pc maybe $400 should be enough le

Yeap. Ps4 seems cheaper. But it doesnt have good graphics as a pc. The frames per second that the consoles are around just 26-30fps against a pc which is capable of more fps and more graphics power.

But lets say if you really want a htpc type can consider intel NUC for all kinds of video playbacks. Then buy the ps4 for your console gaming needs.
