would like to go for a 1 day round trip.
Any drivers to recommend?

Understand that go and back from BKK would already take few hours.

yup, understand that 1 day will be rush. but this is impromptu decision to add huahin into trip, and we already book bkk hotel unable to refund. thus thinking just going for a day trip.

I would say just stick to bkk. Hua hin do it another time.

just take a bts from where ever station you at and drop off at Victory Monument

look out for signage and board the mini van leading to huahin.
the ride will cost you about 6-8sgd onli
it start as early as 7am if i rmb it correctly

at huahin where you alight, there is a bike rental kiosk across the street.
rental of bike will cost you 200 bath per day

with the bike you should be able chiong huahin within a day.
but frankly, you wont get to enjoy or see much.
really is touch and go kind of thing

7am boarded - 11am reached huahin - 4pm boarded - 8pm reached bbk

i think there is a few water theme park. but i hv nv been there b4

but there is alot interesting park around.
like the Santorini Park,swiss farm and e.g
all with cheap entrance fee like 1-2sgd good to keep you entertain
just google it, you will see alot

everything is just located along 1 straight road in hua hin.
riding from 1 end to another end, you will see everything.

need not license for renting bike there, but make sure you roughly know how to ride it for your own safety

I like the area in/around Hilton Hua Hin. Lots of restaurants and massage places that you don't need transport to get around.

Rent a car ba.. on gps which is what i did during my trip
