Huawei already confirm that they will announce the Huawei P9 on 6th of April. So lets take a look at the rumor specs..

According to source, it will be using a Kirin 955 & there will be 2 variants of the phone. Photo also release that it will have 2 camera & lenses therefore the #OO.

Spec based on rumor:
Display: Type IPS-NEO LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors (possible wide gamut like Mate8 ?)
Size: 5.2 inches
Resolution: 1080 x 1920 pixels (~424 ppi pixel density)
Protection: Corning Gorilla Glass 4
Platform: EMUI OS | Android OS, v6.0 (Marshmallow)
Chipset: HiSilicon Kirin 955
CPU: Quad-core 2.3 GHz Cortex-A72 & quad-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53
GPU: Mali-T880 MP4
Internal: 32/64 GB, 3/4 GB RAM
Camera: Dual 13 MP, laser autofocus, OIS, dual-LED (dual tone) flash w/ Leica Lens???

Hi people. Hope to make this the official Huawei P9 thread. As with the Nexus 6P, I'll try to provide best information here for this seminal phone (pun intended).

There are 3 Huawei P9 variants as listed by GSMarena (not verified accurate):

Besides all the other innovations, one of the most exciting innovations is the dual lens camera. G5 and the old HTC also have dual lens but this Huawei one is different. Why?

Huawei got Leica co-develop camera. In some leaks it was revealed that they have 2 Leica lenses on the phone.

What's the difference between kirin 950 and 955?

We don't know. Speculation is that some of the advanced libraries not yet ready during the production of the 950 are now included, and also it's shown to have higher performance at same clock speed than 950.

I believe the 2 high performance core in 955 is higher clock speed that 950.. Other than that I'm not so sure.. =/

yeah my guesses are in USD too. I guess that the prices are quite reasonable if it is around that range. For good lens, fair enough battery power (i heard is 3900 MAH), I would be really looking forward to testing one!

I've never seen red dot on a product not 100 percent made by Leica.
