I know the robot is strong... but doing fancy moves like that... is stupid... the robot loses any traction and control once it is in air... the robber got time to imbalance it and whack it...

Instead should uses it's advantage to block any attacks against the master... walk towards the criminal and dun let them out of its control and start to punch and kick the hell out of the intruder.
