How's it compared to wf-1000xm4 or xm5?

My xm4 right side battery like draining super fast and warranty over.. thinking if I should get xm5 or this

just now tested after a few hrs of listening and tested ANC in the gym

can hear that there is clear seperation between the highs and mids from the bass, i set the bass to the lowest in the creative app as i find the bass overwhelming everything. it didnt affect the sound of the high and mids after the setting.

my prev was sennheiser cx200tw, im too used to the sennheiser sound.

overall if u were using cheapo wireless earbud, this will be an improvement. if u r using mid tier TW buds from the usual brands( seinheiser, sony) dun think u will find it a major improvement

Hi, the firmware is at Creative’s website? Incredibly I wasn’t able to do the Bluetooth pairing with my iPhone 14, it’s the first time I’ve ever encountered such a pairing problem.

i used the app store "creative" app, it detected it and prompted to update.

Thanks. I downloaded the app, it unfortunately isn’t of help in my case because the earbuds aren’t able to connect via Bluetooth. I’ve emailed Creative to ask what other steps can I take if the auto and manual method of pairing doesn’t work. I think I’ve received a defective set, just my luck, I was so looking forward to testing it out.

Yepp, I tried the master reset too, it didn’t work. Anyway I’ll just continue using my current Sony WF-1000XM4, it’s not a crisis, it’s just irritation that I probably received a faulty set.

Pls share if the sound quality is better than xm4 when your issue is fixed

That is unfortunate to hear, because I just placed an order for the Ace 2 1-2 days ago.

I'm looking to replace my XM4 due to the case's battery life charging slow and draining fast (the earbuds are still OK battery life because they were changed before, but the left earbud often don't connect on the first try recently).

Also hoping that the Ace 2 being a stick shape would have better microphone because the XM4's are trash.

It is a lower price point though.

I had a chance to try it out at their roadshow. I agree, it doesn't sound impressive for the price. The bass was too overpowering.
The Aurvana Ace 2 was advertised with AptX Lossless and all those high end codecs but during my test, they have it connected to an iPhone :cautious: The audio clarity wasn't great that way.
The driver technology seems to be capable though... Just packaged badly.

I just received the buds last night; does your set peak when there are certain higher tones?

I cannot tell if is a defect or that's just how the hardware is.

when i first listened, it felt weird, the bass was all over. no issue with highs and mids

try updating the firmware, i felt there was a significant difference and then push down the bass in the equalizer if it is too muffled for low resolution audio

after a few days i go used to the boomz boomz and is back on the default “flat” eq setting
