I think my samsung hp spoild cannot charge cos i use labtop charger

My samsung hp is unable to charge.

Its under warranty so i send it to samsung service centre for repair.

The staff says the technician will check if there is any illegal tampering etc by me. If there is, the warranty will be void and i have to pay.

I use labtop charger frequently to charge my hp. I suspect this cause the hp to spoild to be unable to charge as labtop charger the voltage could be too strong for hp.

What are the chances that they will find out about it and void the warranty and ask me to pay for the repairs?

Is this considered as illegal tampering?
