Good Evening Guys,

Anyone of you here on STARHUB having iMessage Activation error? I cannot activate my Starhub number for iMessage. I am not referring to the Apple ID activation Thats okay.

I called up Apple Tech Support, the very polite lady guided me through but still unable. To the point I even restored my phone! But still unable to activate.

It simply stuck at " Waiting for Activation"

I eventually tried my daughter's sim card (Singtel) and tested it on my phone... No issue at all. Activated within seconds.

Therefore I would like to ask if anyone you here on Starhub facing the same issue??

Appreciate those on Starhub to feedback.

Thank you

think you gotta call Starhub up.
because what happens is that when you activate iMessage on your iPhone, an (overseas) SMS is sent to Apple to verify your device.

Meaning to enable overseas sms or something? I had similar experience and gave up because StarHub CS insist everything is fine on their side.

Apple server for iMessage activation is in overseas

Your account need to be able to send an overseas SMS in order for it to work

it will trigger 15 cents each time you activate
