Hi all, i need some help in importing my contacts.

Previously i using bb plan and my sim card is not microsim. With the newly purchase of Z yesterday , i cannot use the old sim in the new phone for importing purpose.

So how can i import my contacts beside asking the service team....

My previous contact is either save SIM or the phone itself.

When i use XZ, i try to key in one by one contact and it let me select either i save in LOCAL contact or Google mail contact.
Is the local contact mean SIM card or the phone itself. I am first time using Android and thus i have no contacts in GMAIL.

what is the better way to do this?

Just get your old SIM cut to microsim size.

If you select local, it's phone only. I highly recommend creating the new contacts under the email account so that you can manage them even from a browser and it will get synched across devices.

Most probably not; it'll be a fee. You can also go to ah beng mobile shop and ask them to cut for a (smaller) fee.

Thank you. I have solved this by importing hotmail contact into gmail contact. Perhap still need to key some phone number later on.

Somehow i notice my contacts all is faceless unlike blackberry which will show their facebook photo.

Can it be done? i google it and it mentioned need to buy a 3rd party app Haxsync for it...
