Improving ping PS4 gaming

Hi there,

New user here.

So I play CoD Warzone online and notice that my ping is often very high (150-200) which is making online gaming difficult. Ive connected my PS4 via kabel to my Singtel internet connection and I was thinking about signing up for a gaming VPN to improve my connection.

Does anybody have any experience with this? Pingbooster seems to provide a solution, but not sure if it is worth it.

New user and immediately trying to say that Pingbooster is the solution to improving ping?

I launched Warzone on my PS4, I went to play a Battle Royale game and I am getting 30-40ms ping.

So if you are trying to promote Pingbooster, tough luck. Most Singapore connections are already on Fibre and with servers either in Singapore or nearby, our ping is already at its lowest and with a VPN, we risk increasing the ping to 100+ms instead. No thanks.

If you are a genuine person and your Singtel ping is that bad, try contacting them to get a better route to the server especially if you subscribe to the gaming plan and whatnot.
Else, get a better Internet Provider with great routes to gaming servers like ViewQwest or MyRepublic.
Much more cost saving and getting the best lag than having to pay for both your internet plan and a subscription plan to a VPN server when the game server is already in Singapore for many games.

Yup, new user. A friend of mine advised me to check out this board hence my recent registration.

When I play Warzone (especially with crossplay disabled) my ping shoots up to 150+
Pingbooster is just one example I named. Based on your reply, Im def not going to try that out

Appreciate the suggestion of checking with Singtel. Wasnt even aware there is a gaming plan. Will also check out ViewQwest and MyRepublic
