They need to be transparent about it for consumers to make their choices. While the cost of using insect powder in place of flour is a separate thing, if manufacturers or sellers sneaked in insect powder without any labelling/indication and had consumers ingested them unknowingly is plain unethical to say the least.

I am not saying this would happen but seeing how people do things nowadays, nothing is impossible. If true, it is no longer "i choose not to eat insects", but "I thought I did not eat insects but actually already did so unknowingly".
