Anybody able to use it? Running on OSX 10.10 Yosemite and iOS 8.1 iPhone 6+, but even when I turn on WiFi and Bluetooth on both my MBP and phone, the instant hotspot subheading doesn't show up in my WiFi list at all.

Go to settings > mobile data network > scroll to the bottom and input the APN under personal hotspot.

Google the apn settings, it will be the same as apn settings for mobile data.

I only manual key in the apn for hotspot and left the mobile data one empty.

Then the personal hotspot will appear in your settings menu.

Hope it helps.

Sorry for late reply, forgot about this thread. What mobile data network are you referring to? Possible to attach screenshots? Thanks!

I noticed that wifi and bt have to be disabled before turning on hotspot. You will then need to refresh again to scan for the hotspot.

Refresh wifi list? I did though, I keep refreshing, even turn off and on wifi also no use :(

Handoff just need Bluetooth to be on. AirDrop can keep it off

then they must have fixed it. during the beta time, u had to have it on for continuity to function without fail.

i've just decided to leave it on since it works when i need it to.

My BT is on, but can't seem to pair with my MBP retina 15' Late 2013.

Handsoff is definitely working. Can continue working on documents on phone and then switch back to mbp and safari pages are synced too.

I don't see the personal hotspot appearing on my 6+ though. BT and WiFi turned on for both phone and mbp.

You have to delete your BT profile of your iPhone from the MacBook. Go google for this problem and there is a solution for this. I tried it and it worked.

Just tried it. "XXX's MacBook Pro" is not supported." Think I might just give up. Isn't worth this much hassle just to get Instant Hotspot. Will just switch it manually until a patch or a fix comes out.
