Anyone notice that AMAZE card spread is ridiculously high?

e.g weekday rate sgd/myr

online rate 3.51
Money changer rate 3.475
Amaze rate 3.4 or 3% lower then online rate

I thought Amaze spread is usually 1.8% worse than Mastercard's rate?

Use the trust card if you don't want to warn miles and wanting to pay the least for FX fees
i find ichange rate better leh ...in fact seems better than spot rate.

for eg ichange now 1SGD=3.537 MYR

spot rate is 3.51

That’s what I thought as well, usually 1-1.8% , now it seems like something like 3%+
Mastercard rates always lag normal rates by a few days, and always take the worst possible rate (benefiting the bank) for the point in time.

MC rate isn’t really that good as well
Yup, if u want the best spot rate, use iChange. If u want to earn credit card rewards, most efficient is probably still Amaze (except DBS which excludes Amaze).
Think of it as paying 3% more to buy 4mpd (e.g. Amaze + CRMC).

Ya I would say it’s 3% from spot rates

Actually the rate appears bad due to the cut off timing for when they snap it plus account for intraday volatility. If you smooth it with spot, it would be about 0.1% higher or slightly lower for the major currencies.
