Good read here. It all made sense why we don’t see a lot of AMD products. While article mentions only mini PC makers, I feel even things like motherboards are strangely very limited. If it was the first gen CPUs, I can understand the hesitation from manufacturers to do a dip their toes. But for the second and third gen, the range is still very limited.

This made sense too. But fortunately, the reality is that the RTX 2070/ 2080 Super are not doing as well because of the power requirement resulting in higher heat output. Couple that with Intel’s new toasty chips, unless you have a very bulky laptop with good cooling, otherwise it will throttle a lot.

Think of the 95% of consumers though. Plus, some will just want the "Top of the line" gaming laptop and see that the "Super" is the latest and supposedly greatest and you'll only get Intel.

Exactly. This also means the most premium brand lineups won't have AMD as an option.
