For UOB physical gold, do they only buy UOB sealed gold or can I purchase from another bullion in Singapore?

hello

anyone here know where's the best place to sell numismatic gold coin directly to collectors in S'pore ?
I know 1 shop in Clarke Quay, another 1 in Millenia Walk, there is another one in Chinatown.
Buy back price usually almost the same, as for selling price more or less they have 5.x% spread for 1oz but sometimes they got promo, can get cheaper spread.

those who believed in when stocks are down, gold a gd hedge? (Some may assumed bonds too, a gd hedge?)

  • Gold has traditionally been seen as an inflation hedge and a haven during times of economic uncertainty.
  • But despite high inflation and growing fears of a recession, gold has fallen 15% since early March and is down 5% year to date.
What then

has outperformed gold in its traditional role as an inflation hedge and recession haven?

Uob physical gold coins sold out online, only got some bars left. Anyone know if we can get it at main branch in raffles places?

I remember I read somewhere that the uob in the airport sells physical gold, not sure if I remember correctly.

Anyone investing in gold or precious metals like silver now?

Because the FED will not do the right thing and raise interest rates, we can expect permanent QE.

So gold and silver at these prices are cheap. Better buy now than later.

Prices should increase dramatically such that whether you get it at 2600USD/Oz or 2400USD/Oz, it won't really matter.

You can pay USD 5 to buy GLD at US exchanges which support fractional. For silver can buy from OCBC precious metals as it's minimum go by weight of 0.01 oz. Silver 0.01 oz is about SGD 40 cents? With such low minimum you can do daily DCA. But I do agree both gold and silver have gone up. Based on past history silver is more up and down vs gold so maybe silver will fallback and you can enter?
